HarborHack 2024 and Beyond!
Esteemed Participants,
The brightest minds came together this past Friday at the Harbor Walk campus of the College of Charleston for HarborHack 2024, our weekend-long, in-person hackathon. To those unable to attend the final night, we’re thrilled to announce the talented winners of this year’s HarborHack!
First Place: A huge congratulations to Geoff Coleman, Emily Antonino, Andrew Berg, and Trevor Ritchie for their app, Alethia! Their app offers users a fresh and authentic way to connect through video profiles, creating a dynamic platform for real engagement.
Second Place: Congratulations to Andrew Barton, Todd Dunagan, and Andrew Earl for Power Podcast, a software solution that allows users to easily search through a podcast's archive to find specific insights and information.
Honorable Mention: Shout out to Charles Stello, Brian Stasiukaitis, Kyra Sexton, and Elaine Zehntner for HomeBridge, an app dedicated to connecting students from around the world.
A big thank you to Lancie Affonso, Renée McCauley, Savetria Hamilton, Rebecca Utz, and all the wonderful volunteers from the College of Charleston's computer science program. Also, we are deeply grateful to our judges, some of whom traveled from far and wide to evaluate the hackathon submissions: Luis Javier Lozoya, Tejas Tumakuru Ashok, Kaushik Sathupadi, Sri Bhargav Krishna Adusumilli, Will Horn, Zach Oxendine, Qian (Elizabeth) Zhang, Stefan Tobler, and Bradley Dalton-Oates.
This event wouldn’t have been possible without our generous sponsors, volunteers, and participants. We sincerely appreciate your dedication in making HarborHack 2024 such a memorable and fantastic experience!
